Peer Software is pleased to announce the General Availability of PeerGFS v6.4.
It is immediately available for purchase, trial download, and as an upgrade.

New PeerGFS Features and Improvements
- Greatly improved performance for both scans and real-time, especially for NFS workloads. Improvements include:
- Overhauled communication between Agents and PMCs, as well as between Java and native libraries.
- Optimized NFS mount configuration.
- Reduced bottlenecks and unnecessary scans within both the PMC and Agent.
- Various Edge Caching improvements, featuring:
- Updated communication layer between the Peer Agent and the Peer Edge Service, improving rehydration performance.
- Enhanced cache handling as volumes approach their specified storage caps.
- Improved UI and logging.
- Added proper synchronization of symbolic links via NFS.
- Introduced UI screens to streamline replacement of TLS certificates and keys.
- Added support for resuming large file transfers after a connection is broken as well as the ability to dynamically update file and folder filters without restarting jobs.
