PeerGFS v6.3 is Now Available
Peer Software is pleased to announce the General Availability of PeerGFS v6.3.
It is immediately available for purchase, trial download, and as an upgrade.
What's New in PeerGFS?
New PeerGFS features and improvements include:
- Added Dell PowerStore as a newly supported platform using the Dell Common Event Enabler, featuring comprehensive support for SMB, NFS, and multi-protocol workloads.
- Added NFS and multi-protocol workload support for Dell Unity while improving SMB support using the Dell Common Event Enabler.
- Significantly improved the performance of rescans using a new threading model.
- DFS Namespace integration support for multi-protocol File Synchronization and File Collaboration jobs using Linux Agents to handle replication tasks, and a Windows Agent to communicate with DFS-N.
- New scripts and UI to streamline the setup of autofs for NFS client automatic failover.
- Support for OAUTH2 with Microsoft Exchange Online.
- Edge Caching configuration and performance enhancements.
- Overall performance, logging and UI improvements.
