What’s new in the PeerSync Update 9.4.0?

The PeerSync Update 9.4.0 is the latest version of PeerSync. It includes stability improvements for TCP environments and many more features.

The PeerSync Update 9.4.0 contains the following adjustments:

 

    • CIFS/SMB Real-Time support

In the PeerSync Update 9.4.0 we introduce the CIFS/SMB real-time support for EMC VNX and Isilon platforms.

 

    • PowerShell Support

The new version provides PowerShell support for installing and configuring PeerSync.

 

    • Stability and Memory Footprint

Also the new version provides stability improvements and reduced memory footprint in environments with high levels of real-time activity.

 

    • Rsync Daemon support

In the PeerSync Update 9.4.0 we introduce the Rsync Daemon support to Improve NFS replication performance in WAN environments.

 

    • Reporting

In the new version there is improved stats reporting in the Profiler, PeerSync UI, and the PMC, including a new “In Sync” vs “Out of Sync” status available. 

 

    • Control

We enhanced the control over PeerSync while running as a service, including the ability to modify certain command line arguments without restarting.

 

      • Support

    There is automatic support for Windows 2012/2012 R2 deduplication.

     

      • Bug Fixes

    The PeerSync Update 9.4.0 includes general bug fixes.

     

    Update Instructions:

    Please fill out the form below to update your current PeerSync installation. If your license is under valid maintenance, a new license key will be sent shortly. In case you’re license ran out of maintenance, we will contact you directly for further instructions.

    If you are upgrading the current version of PeerSync (9.x to 9.y) simply install the application over your existing PeerSync application and the previous version will be backed up in a sub-folder called ‘BACKUP’ (if the option to keep a backup is selected during the installation).
