Peer DRS Help > Replication Modules > MS Exchange Server > Creating an MS Exchange Server Server Replication Job |
Peer DRS provides a wizard to guide you through the process of editing or creating a new MS Exchange Server Replication Job. See MS Exchange Server Backup & Restore Process for a detailed explanation of how the entire end-to-end replication process works.
Peer DRS Exchange replication jobs are configured on a per Exchange storage group basis rather than on a per Exchange database basis. Each configured Exchange data source will point to an Exchange Server and a storage group being hosted on that Exchange server. All databases in a storage group will be backed up as part of a single replication job. Whenever possible, it is a recommended best practice to have no more than one database per storage group. See Exchange Replication Best Practices for more details.
We recommend you first take a look at the Sample Configurations section for examples of how to configure a replication job.
