Activity Log View

The Activity Log View allows you to see all replication activity being performed by the system in real-time and is a great tool for monitoring live system activity. This view can be activated by selecting the Job Activity Log menu item from the View menu or by selecting the Activity Logs radio button just below the Replication Job List table. When this view is activated, the Job Summary Panel is updated with Job Activity Tabs for all configured Replication Jobs. Each Replication Job will have its own Job Activity Tab for viewing replication activity for just that job. If more than one Replication Job is configured then there will be an additional tab labeled All Jobs that will display real-time activity for all jobs in a consolidated view. You can change the selected tab by clicking on the tab itself or clicking on one of the jobs in the Replication Job list. In addition, there is an optional System Activity Tab that can be displayed if you enable the option in the Global Options dialog. This tab will display system level debugging information used to isolate hard to find problems, if any should ever occur. Activity Messages

Each Job Activity Tab is controlled by a scrollable text pane below the tab. There are 3 types of messages that can be displayed and each type of message contains a date and timestamp along with the Replication Job Name and descriptive message.

1.	Informational Message: These messages are displayed in clear text and start with INFO. They are used to display useful information about the progress of a task being performed or other miscellaneous information.

2.	Status Message: These messages are displayed in blue text and start with STATUS . They are used to display the successful completion of some replication task.

3.	Error Message: These messages are displayed in red text and start with ERROR . They are used to display error details that occurred while executing a replication job.

You can select, copy and clear all text in the activity log scrollable text pane by clicking the right mouse on the area and selecting the desired option.
